With decades of experience as Flower Essence Practitioners we have gained valuable knowledge on which Remedies and Essences are suited to which particular emotional or behavioural problem in our clients, be they people, or every type of animal such as dogs, cats, birds, horses, even llamas!

Vegetable Glycerine
Our Solar Blends are preserved using natural vegetable glycerine (also known as glycerol or glycerin). Glycerine is a sweet-tasting, non-toxic product used to preserve food, beverages and some pet treats. An example in food use is that it is added to icing (frosting) to prevent it from setting too hard.

Glycerine use and diabetics
  • Nutritionist Monica Reinagel, MS, LDN writes that:
    "...glycerin tastes sweet but it is not metabolized as sugar in the body and doesn’t cause a rise in blood sugar. For that reason, it’s sometimes used as a sweetener in foods marketed to diabetics and low-carb dieters." [Ref]
  • ​The Wikipedia page on Glycerol and Metabolism says:
    '...When the body uses stored fat as a source of energy, glycerol and fatty acids are released into the bloodstream. Circulating glycerol does not glycate proteins as do glucose or fructose, and does not lead to the formation of advanced glycation endproducts (AGEs).'
